Tammy Rooke, RN, BScN, MN, CarePartners
Tammy Rooke, RN BScN MN CCHN(c) is the Director of Learning and Education at CarePartners, a home care service provider organization offering nursing, personal support, and allied health services across Ontario. In her role, Tammy leads a team in the development and execution of various learning programs aimed at enhancing talent development within the organization. She is known for designing training programs grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with organizational objectives while leveraging best practices and innovative methodologies to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
Tammy is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Nursing from Western University and an active member of various professional groups. Her diverse background includes experience in acute care and clinical research. In addition to her role at CarePartners, Tammy is also a Professor of Nursing in the academic setting. Passionate about lifelong learning, she is dedicated to empowering nurses through education and mentorship.
Lasha Keith, RN, CarePartners
Lasha Keith, RN is a highly experienced registered nurse with over 26 years of experience in community nursing with extensive experience in care for general, palliative, and pediatric populations. As a Clinical Practice Specialist, Lasha has supported professional education and development at CarePartners by creating standards, policies, and educational content which empower frontline clinicians and enhance patient outcomes.
Lasha has demonstrated her leadership capabilities in several areas, including the design and implementation of virtual care services to improve system capacity, service access and efficiency, and patient safety. She led and supported projects such as a Virtual Wound Care Clinic, improving patient access to specialists and enhancing nursing competency through mentorship.
Other contributions include a published abstract in the International Journal of Integrated Care but also participated in a comprehensive review and update of the competencies of Community Health Nursing of Canada (CHNC). Her commitment to education, innovation and quality care defines her impact at CarePartners.
