Speaker Bio:
Chief Nursing Executive and Chief of Inter-Professional Practice and is known for translating vision into action, As a leader she is committed to advancing culture care, challenging discrimination in all forms and fostering inclusive environments. She continues to work at local, provincial, and national levels on issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. She is the author and editor for The Health Care Professional’s Guide to Cultural Competence (2nd edition published 2022) and has written several book chapters and articles on topics of cultural identity, religion, ethics, and family-centered care.
