Goal #1 Connecting NLN.ON Members (Engagement and Reach)
Objective: Active engagement of NLN.ON members across the province
• Board representation reflects the diverse health care sectors & Nursing Leadership roles
• Inclusion, equity, and diversity underpins our collaborative efforts
• Strengthen partnerships with members, healthcare organizations, associations and other key stakeholders
• Refresh NLN.ON communication and engagement strategy

Goal #2 Build Capacity of Nursing Leaders
Objective: Commitment to innovation and education to support nursing leadership development
• Enhance knowledge translation forums that support nursing leadership growth with emerging and current Nursing Leaders through educational offerings
• Continue to foster and develop mentorship opportunities
• Encourage and advance a nursing leadership focus in academic curriculums
• Continue to offer annual education and research grants
• Evaluate the impact on nursing leadership during the pandemic

Goal #3 One Collective Nursing Leadership Voice
Objective: Advocate for Nursing Leadership and strengthen the voice of nursing leadership
• Collaborate with Nursing Associations, Provincial and Federal CNOs & Nursing Groups to advocate for:
o Sustainment of the Federal and Provincial CNO role
o Sustainable nursing leadership roles across the province
o Sustainment of Chief Nursing Executive role at the Executive level
o Recognition of Nursing Leadership novice to expert and support for non-traditional nursing leadership positions
o Sustainable resources to support Nursing Leadership roles
Improved processes for nursing recruitment, retention and compensation within the integrated health system
