Relational leadership coaching to support relationship-based, person-centered care

This session offers a learning opportunity for leaders to explore the use of resident and family-led huddles to support quality improvement goals in long-term care. Leadership coaching is used as a strategy to support drivers of practice change through relational and collaborative leadership.

Delegates will learn:

  1. How a huddle intervention from a research initiative can address quality improvement indicators.
  2. How leadership coaching sessions can build capacity for knowledge implementation tailored to local contexts.
  3. How relational leadership coaching can support leaders to enable, encourage, reinforce, and reward relationship-based, person-centred care.
