Relational leadership coaching to support relationship-based, person-centered care
This session offers a learning opportunity for leaders to explore the use of resident and family-led huddles to support quality improvement goals in long-term care. Leadership coaching is used as a strategy to support drivers of practice change through relational and collaborative leadership.
Delegates will learn:
- How a huddle intervention from a research initiative can address quality improvement indicators.
- How leadership coaching sessions can build capacity for knowledge implementation tailored to local contexts.
- How relational leadership coaching can support leaders to enable, encourage, reinforce, and reward relationship-based, person-centred care.
