A nurse led time efficiency project in an Electrophysiology Lab offers tangible solutions to minimize delays, refine workflow and patient care delivery. Key strategies include improving patient arrival times; admission process; and communication. Results show a daily time savings of 45 minutes, increased procedure volumes, reduce cancellations, and force overtime.

Peter Munk Cardiac Centre Nursing Coaching and Mentorship program facilitated protected paid time. Mentored and supported by managers, Justin Stone and Lindsay Love, and unit collaboration, able to successfully implemented a lasting change project at the TGH Cath lab.
