Over 80 nursing staff participated in a 2-day interactive charge nurse education workshop at Toronto Rehab. This initiative aims to empower nurses in their transition from clinical to an in-charge role, and in dealing with post-pandemic realities. This workshop can positively impact nursing retention and patient outcomes.

Ian Alagadan is currently a Manager of Professional Practice at Toronto Rehab, University Health Network. His leadership portfolio includes the Specialized Dementia Unit, Multi-systems and Musculoskeletal Units, and Complex Continuing Care Program. He is also a doctoral student at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Nursing.
