Utilizing the Northwick Park Dependency Scale Tool to Capture an Understanding of Patient Care Needs in a Rehabilitation Setting

As a nursing leader and educator, Kaitlyn has spent the past 10 years in professional practice and education leadership roles both in the acute care and community sectors. Kaitlyn has held various nursing leadership roles at Unity Health Toronto and is currently the Interim Senior Director Nursing Practice & Education. Kaitlyn received a Bachelor of Nursing Science from McMaster University and a Masters of Nursing from the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing. Kaitlyn holds an adjunct lecturer appointment with the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and enjoys precepting graduate students and acting as a career mentor. Her scholarship interests are using innovative approaches to improve clinical decision making skills in novice nurses and patient and family centered care.
