With 19 years of experience, Josee has built a dynamic career in healthcare. Beginning as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), she pursued further education earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and later an MBA, showcasing a commitment to clinical excellence and leadership development.
Josee has worked across diverse areas of nursing, including medical-surgical, mental health, obstetrics, and emergency care. This broad experience has provided a well-rounded perspective on patient care and healthcare systems.
For the past five years, Josee has held leadership roles, starting as a frontline manager during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, she serves as Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nurse at the Dryden Regional Health Center, where they focus on advancing patient outcomes, fostering innovation, and supporting healthcare teams.
Residing in Sioux Lookout with their spouse and two children, Josee enjoys traveling and reading, finding balance in both personal and professional endeavors.
