Rinam Ali, RN, BScN, MscN, The Ottawa Hospital
Rinam Ali is the Nursing Education Lead at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) in 2010 and has since worked as a registered nurse in various acute care settings both within Canada and internationally, including medicine-surgery, hemodialysis, and critical care. In 2020, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa.

Throughout her career, Rinam has embraced several leadership roles, including clinical nurse expert, assistant manager, and nurse educator, where she has been actively involved in mentoring her colleagues. In her current position with the corporate nursing education team at TOH, she spearheads the implementation of practice changes, collaborates with academic institutions for nursing student placements, and partners with external organizations to address the educational needs of TOH nurses. Rinam’s passion for quality improvement and program evaluation drives her commitment to excellence in nursing education.

Prudy Menard, RN, MSNH, MScN, MEd, CMSN(C), The Ottawa Hospital
Prudy Menard is the Manager of Nursing Education at The Ottawa Hospital, she brings a wealth of experience as a registered nurse both in Canada and internationally. With a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master’s in Education, Prudy has consistently demonstrated her commitment to excellence in nursing and education.

Throughout her career, she has embraced numerous leadership roles, including that of a nurse educator, where she has contributed to the continuing education of nurses. Prudy has also worked with various academic institutions to facilitate student learning experience.

In her current role, as the manager of nursing education team at TOH, she mentors and coaches service line nurse educators and oversees funding and educational opportunities for nurses. As a key driver of the TOH Education Strategy, she is dedicated to advancing nursing education and practice. Her expertise in curriculum design, simulation, mentorship, and program evaluation positions her as a vital asset to the nursing community.
