Michael De Wit is a Registered Nurse and manager of the Toronto General Hospital Emergency Department at University Health Network. He has championed process improvement initiatives in registration, triage, and ambulance offload workflows. Prior to this, he was responsible for emergency medicine and interoperability workflows during UHN’s Epic HIS implementation and served on the regional executive of the RNAO.

Janet Pilgrim is a Registered Nurse and manager of the Toronto Western Hospital Emergency Department at University Health Network. Janet has over 20 years of nursing leadership experience in both Emergency and General Internal Medicine and has been involved in Social Medicine, ambulatory care, seniors emergency medicine, and COVID-19 initiatives throughout her career.
