The deployment of healthcare workers was implemented across healthcare organizations to maintain the delivery of critical and essential healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This presentation will highlight healthcare worker’s experience of deployment, as well as the lessons learned for healthcare and nursing leaders moving forward.

Ryan Chan, RN, MScN, PhD(c) is currently a teaching faculty and doctoral candidate at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University. Ryan’s research interest include digital health/informatics, nursing education, and health services. Ryan is passionate in advancing nursing care and practices through digital health interventions and strategies.

Amanda is the Director of Complex & Palliative Care. She has held progressive leadership positions across St. Joseph’s , previously serving as Director (Professional Practice). Amanda also holds an adjunct lecturer appointment at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University.
