Monika Dalmacio 2F9C44141Monika Dalmacio is the President of the University of Toronto Nursing Undergraduate Society and Health Promotion Chair for “IMAGINE,” an interprofessional student-led group committed to improving health for marginalized populations in Toronto. Passionate about pediatric nursing, social justice, and leadership, future goals include practicing in pediatrics and pursuing graduate studies.

Emily is a second-year nursing doctoral student at The University of Western Ontario specializing in health human resources and leadership under the mentorship of Dr. Heather Laschinger. Her research interests include positive relationships at work, nurses’ health and well-being, new graduate nurses’ transitions to the workplace, and leadership.




Research Award

Zubeida Ramji

ZubeidaRamjiZubeida has extensive experience in planning, evaluation and organizational development in community, healthcare and settlement services. She was a co-founder of CARE Centre for Internationally Educated Nurses which she currently leads.  Zubeida is a PhD student in Nursing at University of Ottawa; her research interest is integration of internationally educated nurses.
